Nums. 32-33. (my journey)

To cross Jordon to help those.

Who finally destroy all that oppose.

Is why l first set out.

What my life has been about.

As l left the land of Egypt.

Victorious no longer defeated.

Crossed the Red Sea.

Set out determinedly

Over the desert land.

With believers hand in hand.

Many fell away.

But here we are today.

For Jesus to lead us in

Finally to see heaven.

Lk. 9:1-17

Jesus initially sent us out.

So there was never a doubt

Caused quite a fuss.

It was seen he was with us.

Then we were in a desert.

We could see we could be hurt.

But Jesus said do not worry.

This is not the time to hurry.

Just sit and l will feed.

And meet your every need.

Ps. 134

Praise the Lord all night

When resting from days fight

That he might bless you.

In everything that you do.

Prov. 4:5-13

Get wisdom above all else.

Listen to what your heart tells.

This is the best thing to do

To give victory to you.

February 8 Sunday

Gal 5:22-23

It is with patience kindness and goodness we live with others.

Treat each person like they are our brothers.

Even those we don’t particularly like.

We never tell them just go take a hike.

February 7

Nums. 30-32

When you make a vow.

That scripture will allow.

That you promised to do.

Because it’s good for yoy

Then when kill the enemy.

Must not let anything go free.

The priest shall lead the way

Making you do as the Lord say

Then bring all before the Lord.

For his purity cannot be ignored.

Thankful that he did give

Protection that we might live.

That some would want to stay.

And that would be okay.

If support the others too.

To have promised land like you.

Lk. 8:40-56

When we look to Jesus.

When disaster comes upon us.

Whether secretly or in the open.

Faith makes healing happen.

If we just touch or loudly call

He will come and heal us all

Some will happen publicly.

Some between Christ and me.

Ps. 125

In the Lord put your trust.

For in him only you must.

Have faith to overcome.

What the enemy has done.

Prov 4:3-4

Do what you Father says

All of your days.

January 6

Num. 27-29. (chosen)

Even when against custom

Lord says all must win.

And he insists to give.

All a place to live.

Then when told for me to go.

Don’t be filled with gloom and woe.

But ask the Lord to heed.

The people’s future need

Appoint someone can depend upon

Who can lead these people on.

Then present your offerings.

From all those blessings

The Lord has given you.

As you look for something new.

Lk. 8:26-39. (healed)

When Jesus cures the insane.

He could also get the blame.

For upsetting status quo.

We prefer not to know.

Yet the man was set free.

For all to come and see.

Jesus said now go to town.

So what’s done becomes renown.

Ps 67. (mission)

God be merciful that world will see.

How much you have blessed me.

That also I might praise you.

When you will bless them too.

For you are right here

Fill us with respectful fear

That all would be the same.

In praising your amazing name.

Prov. 4:1-2

To God listen

For you are on a mission

February 5

Nums. 25-26

Here we see again

How rebellion causes pain.

Brings death to Gods community.

As think can sin with impunity.

Is to God an insult

And the end result.

To purify and to cleanse.

Need to stop what offends.

Then it is only then.

You can count on those men.

Who will go up in unity.

As God insists on purity

Lk. 8:16-25

God will bring to light.

What is done in the darkest night.

So listen to Gods word.

And obey what you have heard.

Even if come and suppose.

You are to Jesus real close.

If you don’t obey.

You are really far away.

For a storm will come along.

Reveal your faith not strong.

Though then astounded to see.

He can save the likes of me.

Ps. 120

I took my troubles to the Lord.

For l realised l could not afford.

To live with deceitful people.

Who don’t like peace at all.

For I am tired of this.

So want the peace of his.

Prov. 3:33-35

God curses the wicket life.

The upright saves in strife

Gods wisdom does unlock.

While fools will only mock.

February 4

Nums. 22-24

When those who oppose.

Want a curse put on those.

Who looked too strong.

They will be proven wrong.

For God blesses chosen men.

Instead of cursing them.

For he let it be known.

They were not all alone.

Much to the disgust

Of those who realise they must

Defeat them in a fight.

Despite realising Gods might

To protect and to make.

Them victorious for Gods sake

Lk. 8:1-15

Lord I will follow you.

To hear what I should do

Those words of yours.

The world often ignores.

Let my soil be that good.

I will bless the neighbourhood

Ps. 108

My heart is confident in you God.

For you have given me the nod.

To live victoriously.

When l live so perilously.

In this world of mine.

Knowing all will be fine.

For it is only you.

Who can give victory anew.

Prov. 3:31-3

Do what the Lord says.

Don’t follow the world’s ways.

Feb 3

Num. 19-21

Because a red heifer died.

The people were purified.

But then there was no water.

Their faith in God did falter.

Made Moses so very angry

He struck rock so all could see

But Lord said that is why

In the desert you shall die.

First Miriam then Arron.

While in the land so barren.

But still giving victory.

Over those who refused entry.

Until they are right there.

Under the Lords care.

Lk 7:38-50

There may come a day.

When self righteous hold sway.

And the sinner comes in.

To Gods favour win.

They say sinner has no right.

To be in Gods sight.

But Jesus says let him in.

I have forgiven his sin.

Ps. 111

I will praise Lord with all my heart.

As with others I take part.

In glorifying his name.

Our praises show his fame.

He gives to all.

To famous but most of all

To those who seek wisdom.

A honourable life in him.

Prov. 3:29-30

Never enjoy when neighbours are harmed.

Trust and don’t be alarmed

February 2

Num. 16-18 (choices)

To grumble and complain

About those God does ordain

The leaders up the front

Is to the Lord an affront

He will be so annoyed.

The opposition is destroyed.

Get away from these men.

God will destroy all of them.

Then I will see.

Confirmed who should lead me.

With a special sign.

That is obviously divine.

So you are in no doubt.

They know what the Lord is about.

So you can support too.

In everything they will do.

Those who man’s ways adore

Are now kicked out the door.

Lk. 7:24-35. (Gods way)

What kind of man

Do you see in Gods plan.

The least of all.

Yet he stands tall.

Yet the Lord does see.

When Spirit falls on me.

Even greater is the one.

In Gods new kingdom.

But yet even then.

What is performed amongst men.

They treat offhand

Totally misunderstand.

Ps. 107:33-43 (reward)

The Lord does award.

A special reward

For those who follow him.

Filled with new spirit within.

So the Lord will bless me.

As from those people I flee.

Prov. 3:27-28

But don’t withhold good.

From your neighbourhood.

February 1 Sunday

Gal 5:22-23

Today just need to be kind.

For Gods Spirit is with us.

That others also may find.

Jesus without a big fuss

Gen. 50:15-20

When others would expect.

Judgment for what they have done.

Be kind and instead protect.

Then their hearts you have won.

Lk. 10:25-37

The most important thing to do.

Whether a nobody or a priest

When hurt person comes into view.

You must at the very least

Be like Christ in what you do.

Eph 4:31-32

Get rid of everything

That show no kindness in you.

For that is what will bring.

Honour to God in all you do.

January 31

Num. 14-15

When you don’t believe

That the Lord will fight for you.

You won’t now receive.

Except those who said they knew.

The Lord would again deliver.

For they had seen it all before.

Their faith would never wither

His power they would not ignore.

To disbelieve does God offend

The righteous plead the cause.

But the rebellious he would send.

To desert while he pause.

And they all just fade away.

Only those who will come to see. .

And believe in what I say.

And lived in desert faithfully.

Till come to promised land.

To make a sacrifice

Leave behind the desert sand.

The Lord alone will suffice.

But those who disobey.

Gods law deliberately flout

Knowing what God does say.

Will have them all cast out.

Lk. 7:11-23

Amazed at what we see

When disaster I do face

How the Lord saved me

No longer in disgrace.

When I see his compassion

Not seem at all in accord

With the prevailing fashion

Of the holiness of the Lord.

Though faithful ask now why.

Your majesty don’t display

He answers with a sigh

Don’t miss out on God today

Ps. 107::23-32

Some went out to sea

To see the Lord in action

When storm would batter me

It tested my reaction

As he calmed the storm

Publicly to now praise him

When everything returned to norm.

Tell the world of him.

Prov. 3:25-26

Need not be afraid of disaster.

For that he is your master
